Customer service for DirectTV is not a real department. It is an extension of each group within their company.
Billing, Tecnical service all have their own customer service dedicated to the protection and earnings of that department. They are NOT there to improve the customer service. They upgrade you to 4K ready ability while selling it to you as a current service. They then lock you into a new two year agreement, giving you no real increase in capabilities.
For their part the response is yes they knew they didn't fully quantify the limitations but you were the sucker who said yes.
After that they basically say we will see you in two years as our new contract is binding. Too Bad Sucker Customer.
