I got divorced from my husband and he didn't want Directv and it was in my name anyway but I had no place to have it turned on again yet. So they said they could suspend my acct for up to a year and a half, the only thing different was I had a balance of $98.

But they did anyway and just told me to pay it when I could. Nov I get charged $476 for non returned equipment charge AND $220 early cancellation fee!! Which is the exact reason I suspended it to avoid that fee!

I ended up getting $196 refund on my check card but the rest they gave me a credit on my bill!! Right before Christmas right before my knee surgery etc.
