Have used DirecTV service for the last six or seven years. Neighborhood trees grew up into the satellite signal path and programming became corrupted.

Had three of DirecTV service people over a two year period out to correct the problem. At first viewing was improved but the last time there was no improvement so I cancelled service. I was charged for the service calls. I was also charged an early cancellation penalty ($220.00) when I cancelled service.

The excuse they used was that the trees wasn't their problem and then change it to one of the early service calls had included a new DVR (it has been returned) so my contract was extended two more years.

DirecTV can't provide the service but I am penalized. Buyer Beware!

Monetary Loss: $220.
