I've been a customer for at least 5 years. Recently an AT&T tech was here due to an internet problem.

He looked at the equipment I had for DirecTV and said this is way outdated by at least two years. I then called DirecTV to question him about this and they had no comment at all. I then asked to see if they had any promotions to keep me below a certain amount each month. They said there was nothing they could do for me at this time.

I'm definitely cutting DirecTV and going to and other service. DirecTV is by far the worst cable service out there right now.

They have no customer appreciation. After 5 years you figured a deal to do something for me.

My question would be: why are you still paying for "cable" TV instead of using your internet connection to stream or download any show you want? If you can get internet only from Charter in your area, that would be the best as far as speed, etc. Paying for cable TV is rather expensive now, is it not?
