My 80 year old mother had to replace her receiver that was damaged by lightening.They sent a replacement receiver and then added a $24.00 monthly charge.

After being on the phone with them for 1 hour and speaking to two people who had little to no understanding. We had to threaten to discontinue services altogether before we could get the charge credited. They even admitted they "mistakenly" added the charge. At one point they said they needed a power of attorney to fix their mistake.

They would repeat the same script over and over.

Their customer service sucks!They are definitely worse after joining AT&T.

Reviewer is in unhappy mood. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss pricing issue of directv receiver replacement and associated monetary loss in the amount of $300. Directv needs to issue a full refund according to poster's claims.
