After I cancelled my DirecTV acc. & had been told it would be 21 days before I rec'ved the return box & tracking & billing info for the DVR unit...my bank accnt was overdrafted to the amt of $235.27.
When I called they said that was the price of the DVR & since we had not returned the said unit we were now being billed for it. Never mind the conversation when we closed the accnt. about the 21 days & they would sent the box. They wanted their money & were going to get it one way or the other.
We called the bank & are now waiting to see if they can reverse the charges & NSF against my accnt.
I have no idea where they got my bank accnt number from & find this whole thing very upsetting.
I would dissuade anyone else from using DirecTV as they have the worst customer service & refuse to own up when they make a mistake & correct it. Thank you for your time. R.B. & C.P. - N.Texas
