I had DTV installed on November 30th. Everything went great, the tech was nice.

Around 11 pm that very same night i get the 771 signal loss message. It's not bad weather, no obstructions of dish. I called customer service and they sent someone out two days later. New tech- says that the receiver was bad and replaced receiver.

This one worked for maybe 4 hours and a message popped up on the screen that said the receiver was resetting itself.

It hasnt worked since with the same message of 771 signal loss. Called customer service again that Friday night and now a tech is supposed to be here today Dec 6th between 8 and 12 but it is 10:30 and i havent received an automated nor in person call yet...We will have had DTV service for almost a week now with actual service for less than 24 hours...never had these problems with DISH!!

Reviewer is in unhappy mood. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss bad quality of directv receiver. DIRECTV needs to read this review and look into the issue (if any) according to poster's claims.
