AT&T "DIRECTV" SUCKS!!! Disconnecting ASAP.

Customer service has gone way downhill with AT&T acquisition. DirecTV claims there has been no interference but it is evident.

Just cancelled my service unexpectedly yesterday after 8 years. First they offer my $50 off a month, then transfer me to another department to "validate" a new contract. I say I don't wan't a new contract, get transfered and dropped. Call back get the $50 off without a contract.

Get an email saying I have a contract. Call and wait 30 min for an associate to take 10 min to tell me she can't access my account status and transfers me to another department who starts arguing with me over every issue I have had since AT&T merger.

DROPPED THEN AND THERE and my service was shut off in less than 5 min.

Another example of corporate greed ruining good businesses.
