DTV sales representative assured us we were in a no-contract month-by-month agreement. We had just paid Comcast $700 to get out their contract extension hidden on page 7 fine print.

Therefore we made sure the DTV agreement was with no contract.

After 18 months with DTV we cut the cord because we only view streaming services from the internet. Guess what, their billing computer says we owe $120 for early termination of a 24 month contract. Yes, the same one sales representative assured us we did not sign up for.

Of course they have two layers of protection to make sure no one talks to the people making the big bucks.

I complained to AT&T about their shady partner DTV. They put me on hold 45 minutes and connected me to the DTV protection layer person. This robot said the $120 would come off my bill only if I started a new contract with DTV.

If I don't pay they will put me up for collection.

Thanks AT&T for all all the advertising about your great new partnership with DTV.
