Since DIRECTV joined forces with AT&T, they went straight into the toilet!We had problems linking our new remote to the receiver.

Every time I called for assistance, I was given the wrong information and because their solution didn't work, they sent us a new remote (Now have 3). FINALLY, I reached a man who gave me the correct code number, so we were able to link in a matter of seconds. The remotes were free, so no harm done. We have enough to last us a lifetime!

But I utterly DREAD the next time I have to call. Their technicians don't speak good English yet, which made communication just 10 times worse. It's like they don't get what you're trying to tell them. And for every question you ask, they put you on hold and go to a manual to look up your problem.

Before they merged with AT&T, they were simply the very best, but they've fallen flat on their faces now!If it weren't for the diverse programming we enjoy, we would switch to Dish in a heartbeat!
