Our satillite started acting up 3 days ago A few times some channels would work but eventually none of them did. Started out with a 771 code then became a 775 code & was not able to require a singnal.
We checked all the connections & did the resets , also the satellite is located in a wide open area. Still had no signals. ( EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING) We called Direct Tv 2 times & talked to 4 different people including managers. Their reponse was to charge us $99 to send a technician to fix it or get on a maintenance plan of $7 per/mon.
WHAT ????????? We pay them a monthly payment for them to provide us service & when they dont provide us with the channels that we paid for they want to charge us AGAIN to fix THEIR PROBLEM? ??????????? Hours later we finally got connected to a couple different employees ( they were helpful but the first 4 were awful ) They waived the $99 fee & also gave some credit for the inconvenience.
Now thats how this company should be handling ALL their issues! !! Only one problem though. ....
We have to wait 8 days before there is an available technician !!!! UHG !!!! DON'T EVER get Direct Tv !!!!!!
We are considering switching to cable . VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER
