Directv - Constant service interruptions

For two years my Directv HR-44 receiver has been plagued by 5-6 spontaneous reboots every day. I have called many times seeking technical assistance to fix the problem. I have received lots of promises, but my requests for engineering troubleshooting assistance have been ignored. I have been a Directv customer for almost 20 years - long before AT&T bought them. What does it take to get their attention?

I have waited 3 days in a row for service call, and no shows, the people in the Phillipines keep rescheduling, and still no results, just to upgrade boxes for direct tv

Details
Our access card burned. We have spent over 3 hours on the telephone trying to get an access card. Why is it so hard to receive help from Direct TV??? It was actually their technical problem that caused our problem. We have talked about switching to DISH..I don't know if they have better customer service.

Directv in Crestview, Florida - No show for service appointment

Details
Lost service on Sunday morning. Called DTV customer service. Was given a repair appointment for Monday between noon and 4PM. Checked on status Monday morning all was good. Got an automated call at 2PM Monday saying job was on track. Nobody showed so I called customer service and stayed on hold for 30 minutes. When I did talk to someone, they said there were no technicians available. The representative wants me to wait till Wednesday. Scheduling of jobs and repair is UNSAT and needs immediate attention.

Directv - Ridiculous

Details
My mother’s tv was not picking up satellite correctly so several channels were pixelated. Had an appointment today with a tech between 12-4. Service man arrived at 12, determined the problem was satellites placement and move it. He checked a few stations and left. 5 minutes after he left..all stations were gone. Tried to immediately call to get him right back but 45 minutes later I finally got a human who informed me they couldn’t do that, had no way to get in touch with local techs. My 90 year old mother who is a shut in will have no tv until Monday because if their error. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

We call him back and he declines the call so we immediately call directv to report him. He changes the option to being on site when he wasn’t even here. Bottom line... directv is crap. They want to buy out other services but can’t keep up with business and the calls...

I pay $126.00 a month for this direct tv service that I have had for many years, extremely upset over loosing a local channel for my area NBC. Called and complained set up for service tech to come and put up antenna 2 Saturdays ago. Got antenna in the mail service tech never showed no call no explanation im so aggravated and tired if waiting on NBC situation to be resolved. Direct tv needs to fix this situation with NBC -Do WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE SO YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS STAY WITH YOU. I am mad enough to make a change for another service, this is ridiculous

Today I had to talk to 10 people between ATT and Direct TV customer service/Tech support. Since att has taken over the service has become almost unbearable. I am getting a new roof where my dish has been for 18 years. ATT's policy change is causing the dish to be moved to the ground. Is ATT trying to run Direct TV out of business? I had to replace my son's dish using ATT reps tools and face time because he could not go on the roof. ATT pay the extra insurance and give the customer what they need. Dish on the roof.
