Same here. Lied to and several hours wasted on phone to get our on demand to work.
This was right after switching from uverse to them. We were promised we would have all the same channels which was the first lie. Then we were told after several hours on the phone with support from overseas that on demand would be :-) back on in 4 hours. This was a lie and we were only told that because we requested our service to be cancelled.
Of course it wasn't working even 3 days after and several more hours on phone. Know how we finally got it fixed? We called and chose the prompt for adding or changing service. A miracle...we got someone from USA and they actually heard and cared what we wanted, to cancel our 3 cell phone services, our internet, our land line and DTV.
They sent a service tech to home next day. He also had to speak to India and was as frustrated as we were with them. He finally fixed it. Unfortunately never got channels we were promised and now like everyone else we No longer get 2 network channels, ABC and NBC!
HAPPY NEW YEAR. Bet we don't get a discount for that loss.
Worst service I have ever had. Cable...good ole days!
