DTV installed my system and we had some minor issues which we ignored.About a month into the contract they sent a flyer saying they were adding a protection plan for 7.99/month covering if we ever needed service on the system.

I was not told about this charge so I called and said NO. Most people don't even know they are getting charged this fee. Look at your bill! Unfortunately for us it turns out the installer had screwed up so now we need to add the plan or get charged $99.

Anyway how about a coincidence - NOT..... this was done on purpose! Remember when they told you how to reset things over the phone- not anymore. They also told me the top plan was $400 per month.

Who would pay that! I think they know there time is limited with streaming becoming more popular. I used to work for AT&T- they were top of the line. Not anymore.
