We had Directv and we were moving so we called them to transfer service to our new home and they told us we had to pay $256 right then and there for them to transfer service. We said no way!!

I've never heard of that, so we dropped them and got Comcast. I went to the store to get gas and used my debit card and I was denied cause Directv went in my account and took my last $50.

They had no right to do that! They said they'd put it back in 3 days, still gone!!

Monetary Loss: $256.

I don't understand why anybody allows any business direct access to their accounts. Let this experience serve as a lesson to everybody out there.
