My 80 year old grandmother had direct tv. When she moved we packed the receivers and mailed them back so she would not be charged.
They sent her a final bill on March 29th ( which we still haven't gotten) and debited her checking account ( without authorization) 243.00. The whole time our bill was wrong and several hours of my time was spent on the phone with customer service ( who is not very nice)!
As consumers what are our rights? Maybe a good lawyer that gets screwed by this company will unite and take them to court for all us " average customers".
