Ok, I’ve been working in the computer industry for over 30 years and the “upgrade” mistakes I see that Directv is making to their system tells me that their ITO manager has dropped the ball and doesn't understand their customer expectations or how to do an accurate Beta testing project before rolling changes out to the customer...... first their guide fonts were so small you needed to get closer to the TV to read everything and now the font is so huge you can only see a handful of channels at a time...... and that dark blue line for the time line.. seriously?!?...
This is what directv calls their upgrade improvements???
I’ve been a Directv customer since almost the beginning and they’ve come along way and for the most part I’ve been happy with them but lately they’ve been really dropping the ball in multiple areas and they don't seem to understand that this “Guide” we ( the customer) use every single day to find our programs is the “Face of Directv” .... but right now their face has a black-eye in my book.
So get this resolved asap.....offer your customers several options for your Guide of different size fonts and colors of fonts and background to choose from..... They do it for the Closed Captions!!! .....Really......its not that difficult to figure out how to keep your customers liking your product!!
