Dropped WeatherNation without explanation. Attempts to contact DIRECTV were rebuffed by rude staff.
Called customer support (an oxymoron) x 3 and finally spoke to a human. When I asked why WeatherNation was dropped from line up, she ignored my request and launched into a sales pitch for insurance on the cable box.
The third time this happened, I politely asked to speak to a supervisor. The woman responded with the insurance spiel x I hung up. The next day I tried to access DirecTV by contacting AT&T. After a 20 minute hold, I spoke to a person who listened to my complaint and apologized for the other personโs unprofessional behavior.
Then she said that she had to transfer me to DirecTV staff. After another 10 minutes on hold, a man came on the line and without any query to me, announced that he was backed up and could I call back in 3-4 hours.
I informed him that I would not call back but I was considering switching to Apple TV! I still have no explanation for why WeatherNation was dropped.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: An explanation .
