I had early termination due to the sale of the house we rented, when i tried to get service at my new home, we couldn't since the landlord would not approve so we went with at&t since they own directv. But we call and spoke to customer service and was informed that we would get a final bill.

No final bill came and the went into my account and changed 477.17 without any notification whatsoever, causing our account to overdraft.

i feel this is theft, if you have to get my permission to charge my account for monthly bills why should direct tv be allowed to get an account number from an old bill an charge you without your knowlegde. Very bad practice even after i was told that they would waive the fee in september the they still charged me 6 weeks later

Reason of review: pissed off, inconsistent resolutions by your customer service and fell you stoled from me.

Monetary Loss: $360.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Directv Cons: Deception.
