I called to disconnect services after a bill increase of 35 bucks a month and asked what they would entail and was told just a return of equipment. When I called to officially terminate, they then told me I would be slapped with a 200 dollar termination fee.
When I asked why this wasn't told to be earlier they said"dunno". I was told that the person I talked to earlier didn't have access to my termination fees. Seems very convienant and a way of entrapping people.
I told them I asked specifically during my last phone call so I could budget appropriately. I was on hold for a supervisor for 30 minutes and nothing was resolved, she clearly just read off her paper.
