An appointment was scheduled for Direct TV installation one week out. This is in an apartment and they required the landlord to sign off at which time the landlord said fine it would as long as it was installed on the patio.
We spoke to Direct TV about this and they said no problem. The techs showed up on time, took one look at the location and said it was impossible to signal through any screen and it had to be permanently attached to something both which were impossible in this scenario. My complaint is we talked to customer service at least twice and they should have known these two very significant things. Also that we waited a week.
The tech appeared very knowledgeable and factual about this situation and said that the customer service reps do not know this and always send out the techs. That they do this all day long, show up without possibility of installation.
