My spouse and I had Direct Tv not too long ago, and we had recently cancelled the services. We went to Charter, but our bill was more expensive.
So, we switched back to Direct Tv. We were told when we signed up that we would have one bill, because I have AT&T cell phone service and would receive a discount for that. I got my first bill today, and there was an activation fee (that we were promised was waived) and there was no discount applied for our cell phones being serviced.
I called and emailed with the same complaint and just got told repeatedly that "they were sorry." Nothing was resolved and we were lied to. An activation fee isn't a big deal until you tell us it won't be there and it is.
