It's outragaeous that they are taking away local channels when you don't have to pay for them. I pay over $200.00 a month for this stupid service and every other month it keeps going up but they can't keep a local channel.... when all people do is buy a silly antenna and attach to the tv and that's it.... no monthly payments. This is a rip-off..... and the reps have no idea what you are talking about.... I've been a customer since directv started and it's a disgrace.

Directv in Miami, Florida - Pandora does not work.

Pandora stops for no reason on the TV and in the car using the app on my phone. It worked pretty well for a year or so. Now half the time it will not work. They are not fixing bugs anymore. Letting DirecTv die a slow death.

They made a mistake acquiring DTV and cutting every corner they can to keep costs down.

Don't expect any money to be put into bug fixes or new equipment. If they cared they would have rolled back the upgrade to the last version.

When I got directv i told the salesperson who knocked on my door that morning, that I was moving within a year to a building where they have an exclusive contract with hotwire Communications. he said dont worry if you move to a place where we cant connect you you dont have to pay for the rest of the contract..guess what i just paid $187 dollars for breaking the contract under the threat of a collection agency calling me..never again would I believe directv nor would I ever recommend it to anyone for unfair and deceiving practices..besides it took them 2 months to send me the boxes in which i sent all the equipment back..

I am very sad and upset with AT & T Direct TV, which had AT & T Uber for one year, at the end of the contract and called them and communicate directly and notify that my services need to be completed from 06/21/2016 the day of the flood and customer service aT & T offer packages to change aT & T Uverse TV to Direct TV with a good price ($ 110 monthly) for the two-year contract with $ 200 reward (never me gave it), compare the offer with my budget; Therefore, he accepted the new contract and explained to the AT & T that my budget is limited and you can pay more than sending through my email, but then is not that a month received a bill, which it was $ 145 and called the company and explain that it was a mistake and that problem will be solved, I told them I can not afford another quantity I need the lowest price because I do not watch much TV I need basic channels, so to ensure that called only every two weeks, but after more than three (3) months I received an email with a new invoice with additional charge of $ 180 and called them and gave me a nervous breakdown and began to mourn to see they had annexed premium channel without my permission, I was frustrated and I was afraid of getting a heart attack to see the whole conversation I had made through calls over 30 minutes each explaining that my budget is limited and they did not the considered it, moreover, customer service were very nice and gave me the reason by phone conversation, but one thing was on the phone and another reality, they did not do what they told me over the phone; Finally; I decided to cancel the contract because my health is first

This experience has taught me to ALWAYS research a company before signing a contract. I switched from U verse to Direct TV because of the $200 rewards card. After 4 months of constant calling they told me that I was no longer eligible. So now i'm stuck in a 2 year contract with a horrible cable provider and have no $200 rewards card...... So hopefully someone is reading this and can learn from my mistake. After my 2 year is done I will not enroll in any cable provider contract. I will just stick to Netflix and Hulu and avoid this headache.

Directv in Miami, Florida - Complaint

I have been a customer of Direct TV since 1996 more or less. For whatever reason, although I live in Dade County, the only provider that comes to my house is Direct TV. I have researched to get Uverse or Comcast but although they go to all the other houses around me, they will not service this house. Two weeks ago, I called to schedule an appointment. A service call was made for a tech to come on Monday, September 12 to install a new box for a new TV we have. The tech arrived and left immediately because he said he needed internet and could not work without internet. This made no sense! Direct TV does not need internet to work. He then said he would be back in a few hours. Made even less sense since he did not know when internet would be fixed. I called Direct TV thinking that they should know about this. They apologized agreed and thanked me for my concern. I made another appointment for September 15 from 8 to noon. I received 6 phone calls at the office to tell me they were on their way. They never showed up! I called and was assured that someone would call me within an hour to explain. No one did. I called back and on two different phone calls, was put on hold once for 48 minutes and the other time for 54 minutes (while being assured I would be on hold for 2 minutes.) Friday I called again and was told that I now had an appointment for Monday, September 19, 2016. No idea who authorized this appointment. Yesterday, Friday, I called again and spoke to the one nice person, Francesca, who was very nice and apologetic, and got me an appointment for Saturday, September 17 from 4 to 6 (even though the appointments are 4 hour windows) because of all the hassles we have been through. I was told it would be the first appointment of the 4 o’clock slot. At 415 when no one had even confirmed the appointment, I was told someone would call me within 10 minutes to explain. I was further told that if they did not do so, to call back in 30 minutes. Clearly, they never called. I called back and was on the phone with a ***, Juan, who laughed at my frustration and told me that I was set between 4 and 8. He laughed some more that it was not yet 8 o’clock. I then called back and spoke to Linda Owens who was extremely nice and tried to help. As I spoke to her, a technician called and said he was on his way. He just arrived now at 515 p.m., but he did not even come in, because he said that his work order did not have what he was supposed to do, thus he had nothing to do. His name is Juan Correa.

Horrible Internet ,tv, and especially customer service. The phone tree needs to go because it doesn't understand why youre calling and the rude customer service representative Alex, Marquetia i guess that's how to spell the ghetto bird name and Veronica who cant hear or comprehend English. Tv freezing in a drizzle so of course the Internet isn't working and direct tv took 7 dollars from my credit card that they can't see and the different bills are annoying and not how they advertise on the tv , phone and papers

1 review 1.0 star rating 9/25/2016 My name is Rolando, i live in Miami and use Direct TV for a year when i was living in Doral, 1-I always knew Direct TV services was subpar, but the only reason i sign with then was a new development area and Comcast wasn't available. 2-When i get the service i explain i will be there for about a Year,then move to a place with all services included, they told me they where human and explain to customer service, now a year later i had to Paid $240 for early termination, they LIE 3- Every time a plane fly close,the service is interrupted 4-Everytime that rain, service get interrupted 5-Everytime is cloudy service is interrupted. Never deal with then again i will gladly paid my fines and talk freely about the bad experience free to everyone This company made customer sign contracts because they know customers will switch to a better provider ,don't get caught in the advertised, they really sucks. I'm giving then one star because zero is not and option. Customer service is *** one hour and 20 minutes ,the worst,They must be paying big monies to lobbyist to rip off the customer like this.
