My contract was up November 17th 2017 they cut calling me asking me to get an upgrade I told them the only thing I want it was the same boxes throughout the house instead they offered me did you need one with three free Genie Minis the tech came out yesterday to do the installation November 30th 2017 he installed it and told me I had to pay for another box which was supposed to have been taken care of before he came out to where they didn't charge me for the Box I found out after the installation that I didn't get the genie one I got the genie 2 so therefore one of the boxes had to go with the genie Tower so I told them no I asked for the genie one while you installing the genie 2 they stated to me that I had more 5 TVs at my home and the genie one would not work and that the genie 2 was better and it told me all the features and how good it was and how excellent everything would be when finish installing which he rushed through the whole installation he was supposed to removed all the wires running through my house he tells me I should keep them because I might get another provider somewhere along the line and then they won't have to rewire my house which everyone knows every company rewires their own way he left I left I come home three of the five boxes were not working I called they had me to reset the box reset the tower two of them worked three of them continue not to work right now December 1st at 9:11 a.m. I was supposed to have a follow-up appointment for today which the same Tech contacted me last night and got really smart because his era well I'll be there sometimes today he told me which my appointment was supposed to been from 9 to 12 I did what I was supposed to do there shouldn't be nothing wrong I told him that the internet that was supposed to come with the genie 2 is not working he expressed to me all that's not going to work for another 30 days but when he was here he told me it was finna work right away that's a nationwide problem he told me no one is getting the internet because the genie 2 still have bugs in it I don't understand why would you put something in my house that does not work and on your word and the word of the representative it works perfect they would not write a complaint against this person or the one that was supposed to come in and stalled 3 days ago and called me at the last minute and tells me that the product was not put on the van of my stuff was put on The van so I had to wait a day or two until they get the equipment when it comes in to the office or Warehouse wherever it comes from he just didn't want to come out and that's all they say is sorry but I fail to understand how can you sell or give someone something and put something in their home when you know it does not work I have no internet and the internet that's to my house they knocked it out so I have to have someone come out and fix that and now I will be charged for them coming out because that wasn't fault up there or their equipment I'm sitting here now we're supposed to have an appointment between 9 and 12 since he got mad he changed the appointment from 12 to 4 knowing that I had stuff to do they refused to give me the number to the supervisor they refused to give me the number to the complaint department so I looked it up and found this to supposed to go directly to the BP but I understand half of these answers that you put on here is from clients from DirecTV they're not just random people there from DirecTV I do not want this service they're not listening to me when I'm telling them I want this cancelled I don't want something in my house to where I have to upgrade my internet through my internet provider for something that are supposed to have with this DirecTV Genie 2 and I'm not getting this is a sad situation people are tired of putting up with these greedy money-hungry organizations and these people that come out that think that they part owner and know what's going on to people from the phone from the people that comes out they act like they part-owner I have stock in this company and they don't and they would do anything that this company wants them to do and that's a sad situation God bless you all this having these problems but I'm contacting a couple of organizations that I know will help the ACLU because it's a group thing the ACC the FCC the AAA and the BBB contact these people they jump on it quick
