I left Dish Network for DirecTV. DirecTV's receiver is like a VCR prepared to Dish's Hopper.

I could make my own folders for programs I record, do all kinds of things. The guide showed all the channel logos which is how I changed channels. DirecTV's guide has no logos (but they do on the their webpage guide) and all the names are blurred together like AMCHD. How about AMC-HD.

A little dash would certainly help. Very hard to find channels now. The font is so big I can only see what's on a channel the next two showings without having to slide over to the right. Dish I could see about four programs on any channel on the guide.

The technician that installed my DirecTV said they usually install the HR54 but they are out of them so I get the HR44. Well thank you for the older equipment. The one thing I did notice, is DirecTV is a lot clearer then Dish was. Update the guide, put the logos next to the channels and give more options to make text sizes smaller or larger or medium even.

Let's do some programming here and see how Dish has their Hoppers because it's night and day between receivers.

And, where's the Bluetooth. The Hopper had Bluetooth.

Reason of review: Receiver HR44 - I want HR54 and better guide with channel logos and text sizes I can choose from..

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
