I have been hung up on for 2 weeks trying to discontinue my service

Change the auto pay with the bank. It will be stopped.

Sometimes it’s the only way to cancel the service with Dtv and other vendors.

Or close the account,they will call you as son as they do not get paid. Almost made it to 5 0 w o r d s
