Versus is part of the package I pay for monthly but I don't get it....Direct TV claims they are "acting on my behalf by refusing to pay the ridiculously high rates it's competitor is demanding"...thereby inferring that they are doing ME a favor.

Ok, don't insult my intelligence here.

If Direct TV was worried about ME, the D*MN Versus channel would be on BECAUSE SINCE IT IS MY BEST INTEREST THEY ARE SUPPOSEDLY SO WORRIED ABOUT, I LIKE THAT CHANNEL, I PAY FOR THAT CHANNEL, AND I WANT THAT CHANNEL BACK ON NOW, I REPEAT NOW.

The only thing Direct TV is worried about is Direct TV's bottom line, they don't give a *** about me, or any other customer for that matter.

I'm pissed, I say everyone should dump Direct TV, then let's see where their bottom line is at.

We dumped Direct TV and went with Dish...WAY better deal, FREE DVR receivers, you can pause/rewind live tv, BUT BEWARE....even though Direct has broken the contract by pulling Versus, they will still try and nail you for early termination fees, and it is NOT CHEAP!!!! File a complaint with your State's Attorney General's Office, they will get the termination fees cancelled for you, but it takes a little work. WELL worth it, you will LOVE Dish and wonder why you EVER went with Direct TV (just like the commercial says!)

versus is one of the best chanels for mma fans, and now we cant watch the damm free fight, there are two pay per view type fights comming up, for free, and *** direct tv doesnt carry it. That bull ***.

Im switching to time warner only for versus. Screw direct tv

I watch Versus for the bike racing, I have Direct TV in two homes and I am going to make a change if they don't get Versus. I have already begun referring other people to anything but Direct TV because of this. I use to be a happy customer for many years, but not anymore.,

THE ONLY REASON I JUST GOT DIRECT TV IS TO GET AN HD DVR AND RECORD ALL THE INDY RACES ON VERSUS. THIS IS *** NOW IM STUCK WITH A SERVICE I DONT WANT OR NEED IF THIS CHANNEL IS NOT FUNCTIONING.

In some ways I cannot blame direcTV. If it were not that the Rangers play on Versus once a month or so, I would NEVER tune into the station. If ComCast is asking for a lot of money, then DirecTV should hold out.

Direct TV "hides" this address but I found it! Bombard Ms. Filipiak with your complaints! Maybe, just maybe, they will realize JUST HOW BAD their service is and make changes. They hire and train people to be TOTALLY INCOMPETENT and then tie to you exorbitant contracts when they fail to provide the type of service that is expected.

If the industries won't police themselves, we, as consumers, have an obligation to. Also, contact your local Consumer Protection Agency (listed on County Gov't websites) with your complaints. These "monopolies" are ILLEGAL and the Consumer has to stand up for their rights.

Anyone out there with any sort of a brain between their ears should be able to see past this facade Direct TV is putting forward that the reason they don't carry Versus anymore could even possibly have anything to do with your best interest, or mine. HELLO!

You are paying for Versus, but not getting it. How could that even possibly be misconstrued as being in our best interest? No, this is not about us at all. Wake up and smell the coffee, plain and simple you and I are paying for something which we aren't getting...and that is the stuff small claims courts and lawsuits in this country are made of, and thrive on.

I want MY place in the legal action line, too!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to figure out what my options are, I am dumping Direct TV, but that won't lessen their liability to me while I was a subscriber. There is power in numbers, people!

Right now, Direct TV has the power because all of its' subscribers are too lazy to band together and DO SOMETHING about it. Let's change the balance of power.

I am quite sure that every provider in this country pays the same amount for access to the Versus channel on their service. They are all paying it, what makes Direct TV any different?

I'll tell you what, the other providers care about their customers, Direct TV could give two sh*ts about their customers. All Direct TV is concerned about is profits, not customers. If they were concerned about you or I as a customer, they would have paid the fee and kept Versus on because it's what we wanted, even if they felt they had to increase our rates. But, oh no!

Everyone would be dropping Direct Tv when the rates went up, and why is that you ask? Why stay with Direct TV when you can get the same programming from a different provider who offers Versus, BUT DIDN'T PUT A RATE INCREASE IN PLACE LIKE DIRECT TV? Precisely.

Drop them, go to a provider who actually knows more about customer service, than serving ones self. And, if there is someone who is able and willing to file legal action, I want to be the first in line to jump on board.

Does anyone have expertise in the area of the law? If, when we signed up, Versus was part of our programming package and now, though we are still paying the same price, we are getting less could all the Direct TV customers get togtether and file a class action type lawsuit to recoup our damages/loss? If Direct TV is giving us less, shouldn't we then be paying less?
