Directv in Chicago, Illinois - Upset

I had a new roof put on and I simply needed my dish put back on. A tech came out a put a totally new dish on unbeknownst to me and now my system doesn’t work properly in my bedroom. I called and another tech came out stated everything was ok and that it was just the new software. This week which is the third week and it’s still not working probably!!!!

Horrible. I was on the phone with a representive and he was rude for no reason. I was only trying to see why my bill was so high. He was gettint frustrated and hung up on me without a call back. Then i call back later because my reciever was not working and they want me to pay for a tech to come check it out. When before the call it was working perfectly. It was the guy on the phone that did something. Horrible service customers dont get anything out of poor customer service help.

Really? Are you that foolish to believe that people will accept that Fox News has gone black for at least two days - four days before the election due to technical difficulties? I've never used any service provided by AT&T because of historical problems, how did the FCC ever allow this takeover? I'm in the middle of a two year commitment, my memory is better that Directv give me credit, after the contract obligation I'm cutting the cord!!!!! GET FOX BACK ON! I was with U-verse through AT&T was paying my bill and was talked into getting DirecTV it is horrible the wind blows it rains it snows your TV goes out you get nothing in the way of being able to watch anything from TV channels you missed can't get any customer service they direct you around and one lady told me she was the one in charge and she was nothing more than a customer service agent they refused to give you any numbers to talk to anyone in charge. pathetic!

Calling several times and speaking to numerous reps about issue of loading my extremely overpriced Directv to my iPhone system won't accept account # then after resetting password provided by them locks you out for too many attempts . Directv has always used their customers as if they don't care about you but as a 20 plus year subscriber I've had enough !

Directv in Chicago, Illinois - Direct TV lies about contracts

I have been a vivid customer for 3 years. After being offered a better service from a competitor of Direct TV, I disconnected my services. Direct TV reached out to me with incentives to return my services back. I was given a credit for $$458.00. This credit appeared on my account during a billing cycle. However, I was promised that I would receive the credit in my checking account within 5-10 days, which NEVER happened. After calling and inquiring about the credit, I was told again the same information. Nevertheless, I have again discontinued my services with Direct and now, I owe them $400.00. So, I never really got the credit and I got additional fees added prior to my disconnection. There is no one in charge that speaks English and basically I have been told that there is nothing that can be done.

Directv in Chicago, Illinois - Don't believe in REFUNDS from Direct TV...

Well, I have finally heard it all. I discontinued my services with Direct TV, a called regarding mailing my equipment back and I was asked to return to Direct. Well, I was given an offer that I did not refuse. I was to that after looking at my account, I would be given a credit of $472.78. and that the credit would be in my account in 48 hours. After a week or so of not receiving my credit, I received a bill showing a credit of $422.78. Then, I viewed my account on-line and saw a credit of $342.78. I called and spoke with a representative that informed me that Direct TV reduced the credit for unknown reasons and that the current credit would be released soon. After speaking with a supervisor to understand why my credits are continuously be decreased, I was then informed that I will not be receiving any credits and that all of the credits on my account will wash off in 5 days. There is no one higher at DirectTv other than Raymond and if I want to speak will someone over him, I would need to send an email to the office in CO. Direct TV is truly lost my respect for them and I will never want anyone that I know to be a customer of such a company that does honor its own policies and procedures.

I have been a customer of Direct tv since 96. Blundered with my Att account trying to lower the cost. Had an issue with a receiver requested Att to com out and install the Genie , att showed up an stated I can't do it no reason given. I called back and resolved the billing got out of a 2 year commitment, but still had a *** receiver. Told direct tv not to send a technician just the box. New box did not get high def, went on the chat help it was indicated that I would receive a new receiver in two days. It is day three no receiver, nothing on the account . Eeek. Is it direct tv is it att ? I used to like direct tv I am not sure any more.
