Just spent 30 min on the phone listening to the music and a message that Direct TV provides the best customer service. In my experience it is the worst customer service ever. I agreed to their phone solicitation to add showtime to my package. Big mistake! When I tried to cancel it a week later they said that I have to pay a cancellation fee if I cancel it in less than 30 days and would not agree to cancel it in 30 days ether unless I call again on the 30th day (which is Sunday), so instead of taking a day trip with my family I have to call again and spend my time on the phone otherwise I will be billed for next month. They don't respect their customers time all. I can not wait when my contract with them expires. I will switch to a different service provider the very next day!

My T.V has been out for 6 days already, and Direct TV won't be here for 3 more days. Oviously they don' t have enough workers. So when they come on Wednesday im going to tell them to take there dish and there equipment and shove it up there ***!

Did you add an extra receiver in the last 2 years? Do you have any programming discounts?

That's about all that would put you in a commitment. If none of this has been done please call retention and tell them you want them to escalate your account to account management for a commitment dispute.

So I pay 160.00 per month and direct tv has the balls to tell me to watch the Olympics on nbc .com I cant record them I hav e to stay up late to watch them I have 3 dvr in the house which have no use for the Olympics while I am at work I miss all the events while I'm away. I asked for the new York feed they said I have to file for a petition which will take up to 45 days !!! So by the time the petition comes back Iwill be ready for the games in Japan. I have been with direct tv since "89." second they said I can receive local channels by antenna so I have to go buy a antenna and climb on the roof and stick this piece wire unit up there because I live to far away for the units you would use inside by the way I pay 160.00 per month hmm hello Comcast ??? I had same problem yesterday and was told they do not have any offices in the US they are all offshore as they say. You can't understand anything they say. I thought they past a law that if you request someone in the US they have to provide a number.

Directv in Attleboro, Massachusetts - Customer Service????

I called this morning for new service, I spoke to a nice girl, picked a package for my 5 TV's and movie channels. NEVER did she mention I had to make a new AT&T purchase until I received an email confirmation. When I called to get clarification on it, they told me yes I had to purchase a new AT&T purchase in order to receive the pricing the sales rep gave me. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was disconnected. I called back, and again was transferred 3 times. Very disappointed in this company. I requested the names of the people who I spoke to the first and second time, and no one was able to get me that and put me back to the main menu AGAIN.
