I would like to voice my opinion on the new format that was introduced recently on my DirecTV account. It is terrible.

Whoever designed the new format was designing it for themselves and not for the DirecTV customer. The performance of the old format was perfect and addressed everything that the client required in enjoying DirecTV. What used to be a couple of steps to get to a target location now requires sometimes two extra steps.

Maybe it would have been beneficial if the design group had surveyed the DirecTV customer base prior to attempting to improve something that was already working, and working better than the upgrade. All I can say is that the new hyped up format is terrible!

I agree. The new format is a pain in the neck.

It takes multiple key strokes to see what you want. It is often slow to react to any remote input and then over reacts to a single input. Often when scrolling through the channel guide, one page down stroke will be responded by many. The menu is just terrible.

I don't need the pretty pictures. Text is more than fine.They should allow us to revert back to the previous version.

Over the years what made direct standout from all other providers was the look and user friendly navigation. It was the best.

Now it's the opposite. " if it ain't broke don't try and fix it" well now they broke it. Craigslist in their early days broke it and a week later they went back to their original format and have never looked back. If this cluster f..k is not reversed by the end of the month I will be more than happy to pay the early termination fee.

No choice. Can't read. Harder to navigate.

Top and bottom blurred for almost 5 seconds when you do anything. Bet poll would show at least 90% plus were ok with the way it was.
