I had been experience freeze ups on my DVR for days. Having walked through the troubleshooting (i.e. delaying help as long as possible) I was promised a follow-up call back that day. Of course there was no follow-up call and I had to start the process over that day. Once they were convinced the equipment was faulty I was promised an "overnight" replacement.

We made sure someone was home all day in case the equipment came but naturally, no delivery.

I contacted Directv concerning the shipment and it turns out overnight according to Directv means 1-3 business days (that's a long night.) Try paying your bill 1-3 business days late instead of the due date and watch what they do.

So another day of freezing television broadcasts. No worries though, it's only closing ceremonies for the 2018 Olympics. Time to go streaming.
