service issues with a bad SWIM box. All DTV wants is for you to pay for monthly service insurance for equipment you don't even own.
Spent a number of days explaining problem then waiting until a person types info on computer only to find out that the next department can't access that information. Escalating to another department resulted in an email falsely stating they tried to contact me. Call log through phone system shows that my phone never received a call from any DTV department. 2 hours on hold with 5 different people to cancel.
Gave up and called American Express. No problem, credit to my account and DTV barred from charging account.
Reason of review: all of the above.
Directv Pros: Having tv when it does work.
Directv Cons: No responsibility for their equipment, Cancelation process.
