The customer service representative screwed me
I had purchased Roku for my apartment so I can actually watch TV while Ive been in the front of a *** for two months now with no TV because no one seems to know what the *** theyre telling me when I call. I am so disappointed and so disgusted that Im paying this $150 for the next two years Id like to strangle the representative Casey Johnson is the son of a *** name is he did not help me all he did was screw me.
I am so pissed. I will never use DIRECTV ever again

New Format
I and many others I know do not like the new format at all. It is a lot harder to read, among other things.
New TV guide sucks
Your a bunch of idiots at att directv. AT&T has ruined everything about directv.
With this new guide they should be paying me to watch and use their crap. One more wrong move and I might as well go with the *** local tv spectrum.
It’s a lot cheaper and you get the same crap AT&T has brought to directv. Thanks you morans.
New guide disaster!
This is company is a daily ad for other tv companies! Why would you change your guide so that the background and small writing make it almost impossible to read!
If I didn’t know the channel numbers by heart, I certainly wouldn’t know what I wanted because you cannot tell, and when you select something you still don’t know what you have chosen, ID channel, Lifetime etc, because it does not say anything to let you know what channel it is other than the number! Someone should be fired over this!! Also we are still getting audio, video, and slow remote problems!! 2 months ago when called about the first two things the said they knew about this, as they were working on fixing the problem, after letting me explain the problem for 20 mins,!
The remote is a recent problem since the guide change. Changing to cable!!

Consumers, UNITE! There IS power in numbers. Bombard, innundate Ms. Filipiak's office with your concerns and complaints. If there are as many as I believe there are, they will not be able to ignore them.
Additionally, I urge you to contact your Better Business Bureau (again, if they get enough complaints, they CAN do something about it) and contact your County Consumer Affairs office (contact name and address can be found on your local County website).
Stop these people from stealing our money and providing abominable service.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Asked to speak with an " in country representative" who had the calls stopped and my issue resolved.
The repair was done the next day and everything works great. Thanks for listening ,your help and immediate posting of my issues.
It sizzled and smoked. Both the TV and the box were destroyed. I could not turn either on. So, on October 21st, I called and made an appointment for November 4th between 8 AM and noon.
I then received a call from Tech Support where she tried again and again to dissuade me from the service call. She offered to mail me the box and I could install it myself. I told her I couldn't do it. I am a 100% disabled veteran, 79 years old, who has trouble with walking and standing.
I was happy to pay for the service contract for this reason. Then she suggested having a tech walk me through the problem. I told her everything was burned up and fried. This went on for 8 minutes; me saying all I wanted was a service call and her insisting I had to use a tech's guidance on the phone.
Again and again, I told her all I wanted was a service call. I got upset and hung up. Then I started to get hang-up calls from Tech Support, 3 in all. Then on October 30th, I called and spoke with a lady.
I explained everything to her; my disability, my age, my inability to stand or walk. She said she understood and that the Tech would arrive on November 4th. While I was talking to her, I received another call from Tech Support. I told her and asked her to put an update in my file.
Then today at 2 PM, I received another call from Tech Support. I didn't answer but listened to the message. They didn't hang up but just spoke to each other for a while. Now I wonder in which country this tech support is located.
Why go to this extreme just to get out of a service call? I continued to get calls from Tech support on Sunday Nov 3rd. After 4 calls ,one msg with the staff talking in the background, I called the new number 877-211-**** and behold it was also Directv tech support. I spoke with a young lady and asked again why they were still calling.
She advised checking my file no calls were made on Sunday Nov 3rd. She advised they were an off shore, Latter found to be the Philippines, And I asked to speak with some one on shore. She put me through to Kathryn of the Loyalty Dept. She listened to my complaint and reviewed my file.
She advised that no one put in the information that I was disabled and had trouble walking and standing. She did find one mention of I had problems standing. She then put me on hold while she contacted the offshore Tech company. She then advised that I had an appointment for the next day.
On today Mon Nov 4 Carlos showed up and did an outstanding job fixing my problems with my Directv system.
I have always had great service calls from Directv . Thank you Kathryn and Carlos.

Have taken hours texting and speaking with Frontier, so reaching out to DIRECTV asking questions.
CANNOT HAVE ANYMORE PARTIES HERE WITH DODGER GAMES, THE PROGRAMMING IS NOT RELIABLE. Actually it is reliable because we can expect buffering all the time!!

The internet provider has a dynamic IP, so every time I restart, it changes my IP address. As a result, Direct TV thinks it's not my home. Jose was wonderful and fixed it.

The breakdown of the bill shows outrageous charges for non-TV items as well as sports-related channels, which are not available unless you upgrade the package. I will go back to the Dish as soon as my promotion ends.

I cannot access Paramount + as part of my subscription plan. I cannot get a clear connecting call through.
Even when I was able to.
I could barely hear the technical difficulties agent. He suggested hed call back to clear up the connection problem The agent called back 4 times and immediately hung up.

Fix my TV once and for all!!! First I was told I needed a new box.
Then I still was unable to turn TV on or off and still I had no picture after 7 days. No one could fix it. I was cut off several times, some helpers were even disrespectful. I was told they were unable to pair my TV but they would call me back the next day.
However they did not.
Do I called again and someone was finally able to pair it to my remote and finally get my programs back But now my volume control doesn't work so I was told to use my LG remote for volume control This is really unacceptable. I have literally spent hours and days on the phone until I was exhausted.

Satellite dish broke also needs to be moved xxxxxoooooxxxxxooooo this is crazy that you make me have to do 100 symbols to leave a message so I put a lot of exes and nose and I guess Im just making up something. All I did was the first and all I need to tell you you dont need 100 words or less to do stuff its crazy.
It took me three minutes just to hook up with you guys with all the questions and now this its ridiculous. Im gonna go back and change my reading on I put you guys.

I’m retired and get 50 to 60 channels for ads Hispanic no offense to them. It’s a waste and I am figuring out I can pretty much get everything through a satellite Riki Amazon.

We were with DirectTv for 15 years and were paying over $200 for programming with The Ticket. Finally got fed up and let them shut us off and we now have Hulu and Amazon Prime and LOVE IT! Screw DirectTv

Service Sucks.... Worst customer service ever.
If you stand up for yourself they harass your service... My guide takes off on its own, running very quickly through every station, over and over... I even pulled out the batteries during this time and it kept running through them. During this virus, we as customers must pay or bill or be disconnected...
Yet, they don't need to answer our calls... Each time I call, I'm on hold for over an hour.... Then they do not fix the problem, because they are the Problem. I've rebooted my system many times...
Problem is customer service trash... They Intentionally mess with your service and deny your calls. I finally changed my number with them.. Now I'm receiving multiple spam messages from Strange companies...
My privacy rights have been violated. This is the Worst service you can ever pay for.. And believe me you will over pay your *** service. Don't waste your time or money on them.
I also have many videos of my service going down because it's sprinkling outside.
Customer service will blatantly lie to you and never have consequences for their actions, at Least not from the company... God See's Everything.
I hope you are going to change the weather app back so we can access the radar and other features we depend on. What is on there now is totally useless.
I agree with all of the comments. My wife and I are older and can no longer read the information from our chairs.
She likes to record shows so she can skip commercials if she wants, but can not see how far she is advancing the tv as it is hard to read the numbers for seconds skipped. They need to go back to the way it was.
