New Format
I and many others I know do not like the new format at all. It is a lot harder to read, among other things.

Your a bunch of idiots at att directv. AT&T has ruined everything about directv.
With this new guide they should be paying me to watch and use their crap. One more wrong move and I might as well go with the *** local tv spectrum.

This is company is a daily ad for other tv companies! Why would you change your guide so that the background and small writing make it almost impossible to read!
If I didn’t know the channel numbers by heart, I certainly wouldn’t know what I wanted because you cannot tell, and when you select something you still don’t know what you have chosen, ID channel, Lifetime etc, because it does not say anything to let you know what channel it is other than the number! Someone should be fired over this!! Also we are still getting audio, video, and slow remote problems!! 2 months ago when called about the first two things the said they knew about this, as they were working on fixing the problem, after letting me explain the problem for 20 mins,!
The remote is a recent problem since the guide change. Changing to cable!!

Consumers, UNITE! There IS power in numbers. Bombard, innundate Ms. Filipiak's office with your concerns and complaints. If there are as many as I believe there are, they will not be able to ignore them.
Additionally, I urge you to contact your Better Business Bureau (again, if they get enough complaints, they CAN do something about it) and contact your County Consumer Affairs office (contact name and address can be found on your local County website).
Stop these people from stealing our money and providing abominable service.
What happened to MeTV?
Direct Tv has lost MeTV. It is available on our local cable provider, I don't understand why they lost it.
I asked them about it and they didn't get back to me. MeTV was an enjoyable channel with lots of classic shows. I would like Direct Tv to reinstate the channel. Does anyone else like the channel?
If so, please let them know.
the more people that contact them, the better the chance that they will do something. this probably comes down to cost, like anything else, but if the cable provider can offer it, I would expect Direct Tv to offer it as well.

took off Peacock option they added to Movie Extra. protest unapproved add-ons that increase price.
got an email to activate Peacock. It was added to current movie channel add-on and doubled the price.
I did not ask for it. It took 40 mins to login and then I could not see the account overview. Finally saw it was added by DirecTV. Chat bot said I could try to delete current add-on and see if I was given choice to return to just movie add-on.
All I get is "update pending - try again later". I did NOT ask for Peacock, I do not WANT Peacock and I do not want to spend endless hours correcting their
error.
NO warning given this was to happen.
Preferred solution: just what I authorized and no extra charges for add-on I don't want and didn't ask for

Use dish instead
That was a good deal better than Dish. While talking to her, I found out that that package did not include the History Channel, which is my favorite channel, so I told her that I would want to pay extra for it, and she told me it would be $599, so it was supposed to be $108. Well, when they installed it, I started looking for the History Channel and couldn't find it, so I called in and found out that I didn't get the History Channel; that I got History Vault. That was not what I wanted, so I told him that I wanted the History Channel, and they told me the only way I could get it was to upgrade my package, which was $50 more, and my total was going to be $160 plus change.
So now I was going to be paying $35 more than I was paying Dish to get my favorite channel. Well, that was unacceptable. I called and complained. I tried to get that package for the cost of what they quoted me, and they refused.
When I decided to go back to Dish, I remembered that their guy took down my satellite dish from Dish and threw it away, so now I was going to have to pay for a new installation fee with Dish if I wanted to switch. On top of that, I told him that I wanted to drop the History Vault, and my new price was quoted at $111, so I had to get rid of one thing, and my price went up by $10.
I'm so pissed off at DirecTV; I’m going to post my experience every place I can possibly find for the next 10 years, and I hope it costs them a lot more than the upgrade package. They refused me.

I, after ten of going through prompts, was told my number on account was wrong. And then it finally found me after five attempts.
Then it asked my issue and then disconnected me. I was calling to lower my bill.

I stayed on the phone for an hour trying to speak with a representative!! This is so frustrating when you are trying to talk with a human and the A1 chat keeps asking the same questions and telling you they are connecting you to a human

Problem unresolved,got to wait for another remote could not understand agent,could not understand her, have a better resolve,someone I could understandTV want change channels

I cancel services due high price I paid Mt early termination fee or it's was taken from my bank account now my new services need some proof in writing my bill was and is paid in full now I'm requesting a closing bill from direct Tv. Now I joann Thomas mailed direct tv equipment back June 5 2025 but my apologies its was mailed to frontier from my ips store in murrieta ca 92563 now frontier is tracking it now as of july 23 2025 with a waiting time 7-24 days business days for the results.

Tv not tv still not working working
Fix the problem. There was no resolving of the problem , Dirrct TV still not working every program is running off internet not direct TV and we dont have good internet service and were still paying for Direct TV.

140.00 a month for old programming,unless i pay more .BTW this payment doesn't include any premium channels. in to days times there are so meany other ways to watch tv without being bent over !

We were with DirectTv for 15 years and were paying over $200 for programming with The Ticket. Finally got fed up and let them shut us off and we now have Hulu and Amazon Prime and LOVE IT! Screw DirectTv

Service Sucks.... Worst customer service ever.
If you stand up for yourself they harass your service... My guide takes off on its own, running very quickly through every station, over and over... I even pulled out the batteries during this time and it kept running through them. During this virus, we as customers must pay or bill or be disconnected...
Yet, they don't need to answer our calls... Each time I call, I'm on hold for over an hour.... Then they do not fix the problem, because they are the Problem. I've rebooted my system many times...
Problem is customer service trash... They Intentionally mess with your service and deny your calls. I finally changed my number with them.. Now I'm receiving multiple spam messages from Strange companies...
My privacy rights have been violated. This is the Worst service you can ever pay for.. And believe me you will over pay your *** service. Don't waste your time or money on them.
I also have many videos of my service going down because it's sprinkling outside.
Customer service will blatantly lie to you and never have consequences for their actions, at Least not from the company... God See's Everything.
I hope you are going to change the weather app back so we can access the radar and other features we depend on. What is on there now is totally useless.
I agree with all of the comments. My wife and I are older and can no longer read the information from our chairs.
She likes to record shows so she can skip commercials if she wants, but can not see how far she is advancing the tv as it is hard to read the numbers for seconds skipped. They need to go back to the way it was.

My direct tv format sucks. Push info & can barely see the time,etc. if going to stay that way ADIOS
Their customer support is really poor. I have spent 4 to 5 hours with their customer support team.
3 dropped phone calls and 1 disconnected chat support. After all this they agreed to send a new PVR receiver. Promised delivery in 3 days. Checked back after 5 days and was told no order was ever created to send one.
I’ve had enough. Cancelled service. Offered me $50 to keep my business. Really are they serious.

I agree with the majority of the comments. This format is very poor quality.
Someone needs to rethink this and think about simplifying the the entire formant... not next year, not two years from but very soon.
Just got an upgrade today and the new guide is awful. My TV isn't even that far from where I sit and it's hard to read. What's up with that !!
