Directv - Constant service interruptions

For two years my Directv HR-44 receiver has been plagued by 5-6 spontaneous reboots every day. I have called many times seeking technical assistance to fix the problem. I have received lots of promises, but my requests for engineering troubleshooting assistance have been ignored. I have been a Directv customer for almost 20 years - long before AT&T bought them. Directv - Need my final bill

I have been trying to get a final bill since July 5, 2019. It is now October 18, 2018. I have been told that the bill is in collection. No one can seem to figure out how to get an accurate final bill to me. I will pay it immediately as soon I see it either by email or postal mail. I have been given several differing amounts over the phone, but still have not received an accurate, spelled out bill of what I owe through July 5. The equipment was returned in August after being told I could take it to a UPS store. Prior to that, I was told to wait for a mailer to return everything. This is insanity.

I signed up for DirecTV about 15 months ago and was promised $40 a month off my bill for the first 12 months. Never happened. Called couple months into this and talked to someone in Pakistan or India for an hour and a half and they finally agreed they did promise that and would fix it. That was over a year ago. Still waiting. And not to mention I lost FOX for several months with no bill reduction and currently have no NBC. Bill is still the same. Have had DirecTV for over 20 years and never a problem until AT&T bought them.

I used to have a very similar experience from our previous job as customer service, one of the things I realized is that a lot of the time I worked for the company I worked for didn't feel comfortable working on the business side at all in my spare time. The way I worked for the company and the people I worked for, I ended up helping the support people understand the problems they were working on. I am now quite excited to see how the company works out and how it affects the people I work with as they are in the UK.

Directv Ripoff - Local Channels Removed Since February 22

Directv removed my two local stations broadcast of NBC and CBS. They have been off air locally since February 22. When you call CS you get a bunch of blame game and finger pointing and offering nothing to me as a consumer. They have not given any type of credit and it has been over 7 months. If I add channels they want to charge me but when their greed and lack of good service take over they do nothing. They are holding their customers hostage and it needs to stop.

Lost ABC how expensive can a channel that you can get over the airways for free? Now ive lost that channel. I pay far too much monthly for you to quote loose that channel. To expensive progaming to loose channels like ABC!!!!!

These people are completely money motivated. I requested to cancel my service with them on Oct. 1st...they tell me it will terminate at the end of THEIR billing cycle...Oct. 11th. So now i'm paying 11 days for absolutely nothing. Stay away from this outfit at ALL Costs !!!!
