I received a call from a salesperson by the name of Jacob Ramos on March 4th, 2016. He offered me HBO and Showtime for free for 3 months with a $13.00 a month credit on my bill.

I asked him several times to clarify and he stated they were free and the credit would appear on my bill for the 3 months. I want your company to pull that phone call up and listen to it. He flat out lied to me!! My bill went way up due to this deception!!!!

I want something done about this immediately. Consumers don't deserve to be lied to in order to make a sale.

I would like to speak to someone with authority to settle this. Thank you, Directv Acct #1050****

If you are sure you were lied to, then just don't pay the bill and send them a certified letter stating they have not lived up to the terms under which you signed up for and thus consider any "contract" null and void. Then, don't pay them.

I hope you were wise and didn't give them your credit---or worse, debit---card info! If you did, then contact your card issuer and find out what you can do to stop them from charging you.

You may have to cancel the card and get a new one, etc. Good luck, but never pay for something you don't owe.
