Got e-mail that our equipment is becoming outdated and needed to be replaced at no cost in order to keep receiving directv service. Called them and recorded phone call and verified that the new equipment would not cost us anything, change our pricing, extend our contract, etc.

Got new equipment installed and 2 weeks later I got an interim bill and the price jumped up 60% due to new equipment, upgraded equipment and all types of miscellaneous charges. I have the same experience every month and it's getting old. Filed complaint a couple of days ago with the FTC to get their help.

People at Directv will lie to you just to get more $$ from you. Stay away from Directv at all costs!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Stop directv service with no strings attached and will send equipment back..
