DIRECTV - Severe scheduler/list issues and outrageous prices
I have been a DirecTv customer for four years (this time). Since AT&T took over, things have gotten progressively worse.
Since new List software was introduced a few months ago, there have been severe scheduler/List issues requiring frequent reboots. The List software change has made managing the List HARDER in addition to introducing the scheduler problems. Each reboot takes 8 minutes, and interrupts any recordings being made. Customer Service won't acknowledge there's an issue, and will schedule a visit from Repair/Installation EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW IT IS A SOFTWARE ISSUE.
Pricing is stupidly high, and the best remediation they can offer is $15 off for a few months? Customer Care was polite, but clueless.
DISH Network, here I come!!
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Monetary Loss: $500.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
