Could no longer receive a channel without going to HD. Called DTV and were told in no uncertain terms that we could receive free upgrade due to this issue, with no initial cost AND no increase in monthly bill.
Were on the phone for over an hour verifying that it would not cost any more monthly or up front. When technician came to install, again asked about the cost. Called DTV again, prior to allowing technician to install equipment. Again, was told no cost, and no monthly cost increase due to issue with not receiving channels as could before.
Bill came, and was over $40 higher. Called DTV
