Really? Are you that foolish to believe that people will accept that Fox News has gone black for at least two days - four days before the election due to technical difficulties? I've never used any service provided by AT&T because of historical problems, how did the FCC ever allow this takeover? I'm in the middle of a two year commitment, my memory is better that Directv give me credit, after the contract obligation I'm cutting the cord!!!!!... Read more

I was with U-verse through AT&T was paying my bill and was talked into getting DirecTV it is horrible the wind blows it rains it snows your TV goes out you get nothing in the way of being able to watch anything from TV channels you missed can't get any customer service they direct you around and one lady told me she was the one in charge and she was nothing more than a customer service agent they refused to give you any numbers to talk to... DIRECT TV IS BOGUS I HAD MADE A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT WITH THEM SO THAT MY SERVICES WOULD NOT BE INTERRUPTED BUT WHEN IT WAS I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THAT THE REP THAT I HAD MADE THE ARRANGEMENTS WITH DID NOT PUT THE NOTES ON MY ACCOUNT. I have been a vivid customer for 3 years. After being offered a better service from a competitor of Direct TV, I disconnected my services. Direct TV reached out to me with incentives to return my services back. I was given a credit for $$458.00. This credit appeared on my account during a billing cycle. I have been a customer of Direct tv since 96. Blundered with my Att account trying to lower the cost. Had an issue with a receiver requested Att to com out and install the Genie , att showed up an stated I can't do it no reason given. I called back and resolved the billing got out of a 2 year commitment, but still had a *** receiver. Told direct tv not to send a technician just the box. Horrible. I was on the phone with a representive and he was rude for no reason. I was only trying to see why my bill was so high. He was gettint frustrated and hung up on me without a call back. Then i call back later because my reciever was not working and they want me to pay for a tech to come check it out. When before the call it was working perfectly. Calling several times and speaking to numerous reps about issue of loading my extremely overpriced Directv to my iPhone system won't accept account # then after resetting password provided by them locks you out for too many attempts . Directv has always used their customers as if they don't care about you but as a 20 plus year subscriber I've had enough !

I have been with Direct TV for 10yrs...and customer service is getting worse....i was put on hold for 40minutes....asked for a Certain promotion....could not help me...bout to switch service...fed up

There are thousands of trees in my neighborhood, when it was windy, the reception was often disturbed. We settled for this poor performance until we realized that the service was worse than what we had ever experienced with our previous providers.
