Directv in Livingston, Texas - Not Happy with Customer service

Customer service is the worst. You will be put on hold for long periods of time. I called because the movie I rented did not go through and I wanted to rent a movie. They charged with both movies..the one I watched and the one that did not go through. I called back - they said they would refund the first movie. A week later get a call about my refund, they said could not refund the movie. Geezzz finally they refunded the movie after talking and complaining but not the tax on the movie. I hate dealing with this company. Then they wanted to know if I wanted to switch my phone to At&t . Ah NO!!!!

I just got off a 45 minute phone call with the dumbest customer service rep ever!!! I wanted to reach through the phone and choke her.

Not to go into details because I'm still fuming...she never addressed any of the issues I called about, would leave me on dead silent hold only to come back and give me "answers" that were not answers at all. Clueless ***!!

Almost every time I try to watch something in OnDemand or that I recorded on DVR, the program will suddenly just freeze, for no reason whatsoever, and I have to actually turn the box off and back on again just to be able to back to regular programming. DirecTV is also missing channels like The Blaze and HRTV, which is more or less irrelevant, but that just ticks me off. We were suckered into taking DirecTV when Dish Network got too expensive, yet both are owned by AT&T, so why have different channel lineups, and DishNetwork actually work better? I hate DirectTV. I really do.

Details
My direct tv on-demand has been out for a week! I called the tech department to ask for an update. What a mistake! I talked to Cynthia (direct tv rep) first and she informed me that "I did not pay for on-demand service" then informed me that there was "no estimated date of repair ". I requested her ID number and she told me that she did not have to give that info. She was RUDE, unprofessional and even laughed at my questions. I asked to speak to her supervisor. The phone was passed to a woman named Chelsy who spoke in horrible Ebonics and was also very unprofessional. I am floored that AT&T would allow a bundle offer with a company like Direct TV and their blatant lack of professional customer service. I want out of this contract!!!
