We called DTV and without very much trouble on their end they programmed our reciever and we had the local channels..........But wait now we have returned from our trip and are camping in Alabama.

Very Poor Service By A Company That Has Become Too Big For The Consumer's Good

There is NO GOOD SERVICE if you are using Direct TV. Their staff is not trained.

There too many people in too many countries attempting to keep this fiasco of a company in business. We are full time RV'ers and I set up the dish when we camp. I had to learn this on my own ,for God's sake DO NOT call DTV for help. You will be lost in their maze of confusion.

Recently we traveled to Georgia from Alabama and I set up the dish and received all channels except the local channels (CBS, NBC, ABC, etc.). I called a satelite tech I know in Alabama and he told me I would have to call DTV to have the address changed from our Al. to the Ga. We called DTV and without very trouble on their end they programmed our reciever and we had the local channels..........But wait now we have returned from our trip and are camping in Alabama.

So today my wife called to have the same process repeated in reverse. She has been on the phone for over an hour and a half, spoken to 5 different departments and 9 different employees. God knows in what country because most she could not understand. She is still on the phone and this simple little process that one person that works for DTV performed while we were in Georgia cannot be accomplished.

Direct TV should FIRE all department heads starting with the CEO and right down the line. Then get themselves out of the AT&T business, consolidate themselves to a company that cares about the American consumer and become a respectable business. I have been a customer for quite sometime now and DTV is deplorable to work with, discombobulated, and lost in a sea of being a gigaintic corporation not knowing who is doing what. I am sending this DTV compliant to Direct TV in hopes it will be reviewed by someone that can see that it is time for a change to improve service.

It will also be mailed to the Better Business Bureau of Montgomery Alabama and the State of Alabama Attorney Generals Office.
