Given an installation date of 4/29 for TV's.Waited all day.

No show. Was told by customer care "somebody called to cancel on 4/28. Not me. Was given an installation date of 4/30 for high speed internet.

Waited all day. No show. When I requested my $22.95 installation fee be waived, customer care told me to cancel if that's what I wanted. Whoever gets this email, I hope your mother has to deal with this complete inadequacy some day.

Sure there are capable people looking for jobs. By the way, took their advice.

Cancelled!

I would not trust DirectTV not to charge an early cancellation fee($20 for every month left on contract)the contract is 2 years. If they have your credit card or your bank account on file then watch for a big automatic charge.You can try to have the numbers changed on whatever account they have on file for you by calling and reporting the card lost or stolen .If you can get out of this consider yourself lucky and go with someone else Never use DirectTV!!
