we had dtv installed 2/9/2016 the installers were at least awful tore up jacks along baseboards we now have a cable splitter in our living room instead of the basement, part of the dish on the house was thrown out into backyard but the biggest issue is they could only put 4 hd boxes in it would be another 100 dollars for another box so the installer told my sister he could "mirror" the living room tv and her bedroom tv together so as long as the receiver box was on in living room her tv would work, but guess what it does not and the worst part is he said he would do this for $25 which he put in his pocket! called dtv and filed complaint spoke to several customer service reps and spoke to one 2/19/2016 and was told for all of our trouble we would receive a free box OK great problem solved but no not so fast called again to make appointment was told we were not offered a free box????
and we would have to pay $99 plus tax ok we need tv in that room ok put the box on my bill and we will pay it that way OH no dtv does not let you do that you have to pay in advance how do I know their installers won't trash something else this is nuts come on dtv this is quite obviously your issue and you really don't seen to care that you contract people that take money from customers and tear up their houses also so my sister remember her who gave $25 to you shady installers she pays cable bill and is seriously thinking of having someone come get equipment and what is your service reps answer to this?? Oh ok anything else I can help you with Yeah how about a box remember that's what this call was about. SHAME ON YOU DIRECT TV for not really caring about your customers new or not.Maybe you can find your installer that stole money from my sis and they will take you to lunch.

Reviewer is in unhappy mood. This person is quite happy with i can record 5 shows at once and stated that there is a room for improvement of poor customer service. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of directv receiver. DIRECTV needs to read this review and look into the issue (if any) according to poster's claims.
