We sustained damage to our house from Super Storm Sandy. We moved and was supposed to have our Direct Tv put on hold.
We were billed monthly and the bill continued to escalate from $107 per month up to $230 per month. We were not living in the house it was lifted in the air and had no utilities at all. Yet Direct Tv says they are unable to check that we had no service. But they can check and see that we never asked to disconnect my service.
We paid over $1000 in fees for nothing. Do not opt out of paper billings.
That opens the doors for more scamming. They will tack on NFL tickets, and your bill will grow like weeds!
